About

The person building your system

Omnipeak is the engineering practice of David — a software engineer based in the Los Angeles / Orange County area, currently completing a master's in computer science at Georgia Tech.

Why the direct model works

When you hire Omnipeak, the person you talk to is the person writing the code. That isn't a limitation — it's the point. Nothing gets handed to a junior developer, no requirement gets lost between an account manager and an engineering team, and decisions that would take an agency a week of internal meetings happen in one conversation with you.

The whole stack is owned end to end — from designing the database your business records live in, through the software itself, to deployment and keeping it running. One person accountable for all of it means there's never a layer to hide behind when something needs fixing.

Deliberately boring technology

Omnipeak builds on proven, widely used technology — TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Stripe — chosen precisely because tens of thousands of developers know it. That's your protection: if you ever want someone else to maintain your system, you'll be able to find them. Clever, obscure technology is a form of lock-in; Omnipeak doesn't use it.

Why bookings and memberships

Reservation and billing systems look simple and aren't. Time-slot logic, recurring payments, failed charges, memberships that pause and resume — this is exactly where off-the-shelf tools run out and where half-finished custom projects tend to die. Specializing here means those problems have already been solved once before your project starts.
